Job Openings at DPSRU: Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is India’s first Pharmacy University and the third of its kind in the world. Established under Act 07 of 2008 of the Delhi State Legislature, it has been functional since 2015 and is fully funded by the State Government. Recognized under Section 2(f) and Section 22 of the UGC Act, DPSRU inherits a rich legacy dating back to 1964, when D. Pharm. was first offered at the polytechnic level, later evolving into DIPSAR and now DPSRU.

Position Details

Post: Senior Laboratory Assistant / Laboratory Assistant

Pay Level: Level 4 (as per 7th CPC)

No. of Vacancies: 06

Mode of Recruitment: Deputation Basis

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Officers working in the relevant field in Central/State Government, Universities, R&D Institutions, Autonomous Bodies, or PSUs holding analogous posts and possessing one of the following qualifications:

  1. B.Pharm with 2 years of experience in Level 2,

OR

  • D.Pharm with 4 years of experience in Level 2,

OR

  • B.Sc in Science (PCM/PCB/Allied Health Sciences) with 2 years of experience in Level 2,
    OR
  • Diploma in Allied Health Sciences with 4 years of experience in Level 2.

Maximum Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on 09/07/2025.

General Instructions

  1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
  2. The initial deputation will be for 1 year, extendable as per university requirements and government rules.

  7. The application must be typed/digitally filled. Handwritten forms (except forwarding notes) will not be accepted.
  8. Attach self-attested copies of documents such as:
    1. Date of Birth Proof
    1. Degree/Diploma Certificates and Mark Sheets
    1. Experience Certificates
  9. Forwarded applications through proper channel are mandatory for those already in government/autonomous service.
  10. Advance copies are acceptable, but originals through proper channel must reach within 15 days (by 24/07/2025) of the deadline.
  11. No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for tests or interviews.
  12. The university may conduct a Written Test, Skill Test, and/or Interview as part of the selection process.
  13. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated via email only; no postal call letters will be issued.
  14. Selection is provisional and subject to verification of documents and eligibility.
  15. Fake/derecognized degrees/diplomas will disqualify the candidate.
  16. The University reserves the right to:
  • Withdraw or cancel the advertisement
  • Not fill any or all the posts
  • Change the number of posts
  • Modify terms and selection process without notice
  1. All disputes will be subject to Delhi jurisdiction only.
  2. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  3. Originals must be produced at the time of interview; selection is subject to document verification.
  4. No email or soft copy of applications will be accepted.
  5. Applications received after the deadline due to postal delay will not be entertained.
