Job Role & Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Pharmacist, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. Your duties will include:
- Reviewing and interpreting prescription orders for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
- Counseling patients on proper medication use, side effects, dosage regimens, and adherence
- Monitoring drug therapies and assisting in therapeutic decision-making
- Participating in medication error prevention and adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting
- Maintaining and updating patient medication profiles
- Supporting the hospital’s antimicrobial stewardship and clinical audit programs
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Clinical Pharmacist position must fulfill the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm). Candidates with specialization or experience in Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmacology will be given preference
- Professional Registration: A valid registration with the Delhi Pharmacy Council (DPC) is mandatory. Candidates without this registration will not be considered for the position
