We are now inviting applications for the position of Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department at Shalby Hospital, Lucknow.
Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Pharmacist at Shalby Hospital, Lucknow, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective delivery of medicines to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and on time for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Providing correct dosage instructions and counseling patients on proper medicine usage.
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted drug availability.
- Ensuring proper storage, handling, and record-keeping of all medicines and medical supplies.
- Assisting doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff with up-to-date drug information.
- Ensuring compliance with hospital SOPs, patient safety policies, and pharmacy regulations.
- Checking expiry dates, removing non-moving stock, and ensuring safe disposal of expired medicines.
- Supporting audits and quality assurance activities within the department.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: D. Pharm / B. Pharm (mandatory).
- Experience: 1 – 3 years of experience (hospital pharmacy experience preferred).
- Registration: Must hold a valid pharmacy registration.
- Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of medicines, interactions, and hospital pharmacy operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and ethical pharmacy practices.
